With summer fast approaching, Lane Transit District is spreading the word that students in Lane County are eligible for free bus passes. The passes are easy to access, and they make it convenient and affordable for families to get around. All K-12 students in Lane County who attend public schools or private charter schools, or who are homeschooled, are eligible for a free bus pass through LTD. When 17-year-old Cyrus landed his first job, he found the bus filled his need for reliable transportation. Even though he has his driver’s license now, he says, the bus is still a great alternative.
Get your free student bus pass today. Kids can stop by their school’s office before summer break. The passes are valid until Oct. 15 and they can be renewed for the next school year.
