Did you know that K-12 students can ride LTD buses for free? Free bus passes are available for all Lane County public, private, charter, and home school students through the student’s school.
Passes are valid from September 1 of the current school year to September 30 of the following year, providing year-long access to public transit.
Students can use a tap card or the Umo Mobility app, which includes a QR code that can be scanned when the students board.

Did you know college students can ride the bus for free? It’s easy! Obtain a benefit code from your school, download the Umo Mobility app to your smartphone, add your code to the Umo app, then use the app when you board the bus. Tap cards are also available. Check with your school for eligibility.

Visit the LTD Customer Service Center to complete an application and show your photo ID, then choose either a benefit code for the Umo Mobility app or a tap card, then use it to ride for free the next time you board the bus.
LTD has two Customer Service Centers, one in Eugene and one in Springfield.
- Downtown Eugene Station: 1080 Willamette, Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Downtown Springfield Station: 300 block of South A Street, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
